Patriot Golf Day

Over the Labor Day Weekend, Friday, August 31 - Monday, September 3, 2012, Diamondback Golf Club will be increasing our cart fee $1.00 so that over the four days of the Labor Day weekend, as a club and golf community, we can support the important causes of Patriot Golf Day and The Folds of Honor. Jerry Marshall, our Golf Professional, will also be giving 15 minute lessons over the weekend for a $10 donation to the Folds of Honor. Patriot Golf Day® and the Folds of Honor Foundation® was the vision of PGA Professional Dan Rooney, an F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, who has served three tours in Iraq.

Since the launch of Patriot Golf Day in 2007, more than $12 million dollars has been raised and more than 2,200 scholarships have been awarded to children and spouses of military men and women killed or disabled while serving our Great Nation.

In 2012, Patriot Golf Day will again be held over Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 31-Sept. 3. The goal for participating facilities is to collect a $1 donation from every golfer (in addition to the normal greens fee) to support of the Folds of Honor Foundation.
